Upgraded Instant Ramen

Lazy dinner hack!!! Feel like you’re living large by making instant ramen, adding veggies, umami seasoning, EBTB, and soft boiling an egg. It takes less than 15 minutes

  • 1 Trader Joe's Instant Ramen Carton

  • 1 Egg

  • Mushrooms, 3-4

  • Rell pepper, I used around 1/3

  • Spinach, 1 cup

  • Umami Seasoning, around 1 tbsp

  • EBTB to top


  1. Boil water.

  2. In a bowl, add the instant ramen with all the seasonings and sauces that come with it. Dice mushrooms and slice the bell pepper fajita style. Add it into the bowl. Add in spinach and top with umami seasoning. Pour boiling water in. Cover with a plate and let it sit while you soft boil your egg.

  3. Soft boil your egg by placing the egg in a small pot of boiling water. Let it boil for 6 minutes. Then, remove from heat and place them in a bowl of ice water until it's cool enough to handle.

  4. Uncover your bowl.

  5. Peel the egg, cut it in half, and add it to your ramen.

  6. Top with EBTB and enjoy.
