Crispy Bottom Soup Dumplings

Here’s a quick lunch/dinner idea so that you can get straight to any fun Friday plans you have ☀️ The crunchy bottom hack is so great- there’s no going back.


  • Trader Joe's frozen soup dumplings

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp corn starch

  • 1/3 cup water

  • A splash of rice vinegar

  • A splash of sesame oil

  • Chili-onion crunch

  • Soy sauce


  1. Prepare your flour mixture by mixing 2 tbsp flour and 1/3 cup of water together

  2. Oil a non-stick pan and place soup dumplings onto the pan

  3. Turn heat to medium-high

  4. When you hear the dumplings start to sizzle, add the flour mixture to the pan and cover

  5. Steam the dumplings for 5-7 mins

  6. Remove the lid and cook until the water is gone

  7. Serve with chili oil or soy sauce!
