Air Fryer Gochujang Chicken

Air fried panko crusted chicken, dipped into a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce.

Serves: 2

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes


  • 6 oz chicken breast, cubed

  • ¾ cup panko

  • 1 Tbsp onion powder

  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 egg, for egg wash

  • 2 Tbsp gochujang

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic


  1. Whisk an egg in a small bowl.

  2. Put panko seasoning in a separate plate, mixed with the onion and garlic powder.

  3. Dip the cubed chicken breasts into the egg bowl, then into into the panko crumbs. Move onto a tray covered with parchment paper

  4. Air fry at 400° for 12 minutes. If your air fryer has the option to broil, broil for 3 minutes or until the chicken is golden.

  5. While the chicken is cooking, start making the gochujang sauce. Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, gochujang, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Let cook for 5 minutes on low

  6. Dip the chicken into the sauce, or pour the sauce over the chicken. Optional: serve with rice.
