Mint Chip Nicecream

Nothing says summer like a nicecream -- and the best part is that ovulation is your body's summer! So let's celebrate the external and internal summer with this super easy, blender nicecream. Vegan, and packed with nutrients, you will keep coming back for more.

Ingredients for your ovulatory phase: spinach, almonds. During the ovulatory phase, estrogen and testosterone surge, so you want to eat foods that help your body balance out the spike in estrogen and support the heart.

Spinach is high in vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that calms inflammation. So if your body is inflamed and struggling to get rid of estrogen and maintain balance, then eating more spinach during ovulation is a great way to help your body operate more efficiently.

Almonds (and almond butter) are great for ovulation because they contain high levels of omega-3s. High FSH levels can lead to menstrual problems including PCOS, and omega-3s are shown to reduce FSH levels. They also have high levels of dietary fiber and contain magnesium.
